Changing Your Name, Photograph, and Contact Information

In My Information, you may change your name, telephone numbers, the abbreviation used for your name on screen when space is limited, and your photograph.

 

If you are in an application, such as the BedTracking® application, PreAdmitTracking® application application, the TransportTracking application, or Standard Reports or Clinical Operations > Standard Reports and you want to close the application and access the My Information, My Home Page, and My Notifications tabs, click your user name in the upper-right corner near Logged in As.

 

To change your name, photograph, and contact information:

  1. Select your username link (for example, csmith) on the upper-right of the page, and then select My Information.

You cannot change your user login ID.

  1. In the First Name and Last Name boxes, type your first and last name.
    Maximum characters that you can type in each box: 30.
  2. In the User Abbr box, type the abbreviation that is used to identify you on screen when space is limited (for example, your initials or a shortened version of your name such as PJK or PatKel).
    Maximum characters that you can type: 15
  3. In the Mobile Tel. Home Tel., and Work Tel., box, type your mobile (cell), home, and work telephone numbers.
    Maximum characters that you can type in each box: 12 (for example, 412-555-5555)
  4. To change your photograph:

Select only a file with a .jpg or .gif extension (for example, photo.jpg or photo.gif).

  1. Next to the Thumbnail File box, click the Browse button.
  2. When the Choose File dialog box appears, in the Look In list, select the directory that contains the .jpg or .gif file with your photograph.
  3. Click the file name.
    The Choose File dialog box closes. The photograph only changes after you click Save.
  4. Click Save.
